Visual Identity
The Paul Emmett Music logo brings together two simple ideas: writing and music.
At its centre is a fountain pen nib with a musical note tucked inside it. It reflects the practical act of writing music, and the wider work behind it: composition, arranging, orchestration, teaching, conducting and communication. The logo is designed to feel clean, direct and readable, like a well-prepared score.
The colours
Soft, muted tones that give the brand variety without making it feel loud. They work across composition, conducting, teaching, press materials, cover artwork and online resources. A simple black and white version is used where clarity matters most.
