If you’re just starting out, a 20-minute lesson is usually a good fit.
If you’ve been playing for around a year and are progressing well, 30 minutes may be more suitable.

The Triangle of Music Lessons
The best results come when everyone works together:
• Teacher – provides lessons, teaches appropriate material, and gives feedback
• Pupil – comes prepared, practices regularly, and embraces learning
• Parent/Carer – supports practice at home and pays promptly
